Frustration & Guilt Be Gone!

Standing on the promises is a Theo-centric approach to the problems of life taking advantage of the power of God's Spirit, His wisdom, and His excellent counsel. No worldly psychology can compete with or be as effective as God's word is to give peace and direct the life!

1. If we acknowledge the Lord in all our ways, what will He do for us? Proverbs 3:5-6.

2. If we accept Jesus as Lord, does He promise to keep us in His care until He returns? Philippians 1:6.

3. Sometimes it seems like we get frustrated, because we are not living the kind of life we know we should. Is the Lord able to "perfect" our imperfections by His power? Psalm 138:8.

4. Will it be our MIGHT, or our POWER that will get the job done in our minds and in our life? Zechariah 4:6.

Note: Never forget that you are not left alone to fight the great battles of life ! God’s Holy Spirit helping you! He has all the power of the Godhead at His disposal to help you get in the tough times! Never become discouraged! Ask, and you shall receive!

5. Can we be sure that God hears us and will answer our requests if they are in accordance with His will? 1 John 5:14-15.

Note: It is a Bible principle as well as a farming principle that we will reap what we sow! If you sow good seeds in your mind and heart, then you will reap a deliciously righteous and peaceful harvest of good fruit! He will never forget you or turn you away.

Note: The devil accuses us continually causing us to feel hopeless and filled with guilt. But remember if we ask Jesus to forgive us, His perfect righteousness will cover us! He will accept you and love you because He died for you! Take courage in the promises of God!

11. If we forsake wicked ways and thoughts, and return to the Lord, what will we receive? Isaiah 55:7.

Note: O, I hope these many promises are helping you trust God more and grow in faith and assurance! You have nothing to fear from now on if you have Jesus as your best friend!

12. No matter what our sins are, if we are sorry and repent, Jesus does not condemn us. But He does tell us to " Go and ." John 8:10-11.

Note: The Lord wants us to stay away from sin, and stop breaking His law. It is sin that puts the guilt strap on us and condemns us not only in our own mind, but perhaps for eternity unless sin is repented of and forgiven! Jesus wants us to " Go, and sin no more!" He never tells us to do something unless He gives us the power to do it!

13. How far will Jesus remove our sins from us? Psalm 103:12.
