Jesus came so that we could all have victory. The fate of Satan has already been determined. The only thing left to be decided is our place, saved or lost.

Whom on earth does the devil hate most?

• Revelation 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Failure to destroy Christ at the cross intensified the wrath of the Satan so much that he sets out to wage war upon His people, particularly the "remnant of her seed."

"If a person wants to hurt you, but can't get to you, they often hurt your children." It is the same with the devil because he is the father of sin and sinful thoughts.

What is the only way of resisting the devil?

• James 4:7, 8 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
• Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

How did Jesus set such an example?

• Matthew 4:10 "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."
